Murphy Smith

Murphy Smith is a Principal with Medicus Partners and is based in Dallas, TX. Mr. Smith has been in the healthcare recruiting and consulting field since February 2006. He is experienced in all aspects of physician recruitment and has been successful in various recruiting efforts including the recruitment of physicians for a well known cancer program in the west as well as fulfilling the recruitment needs of a top academic radiology program in the south.

Prior to joining Medicus Partners, Mr. Smith served as a Search Consultant for a national retained physician search firm where he annually finished in the top quartile of physician placements among his colleagues.

Mr. Smith earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on finance and management from Baylor University. Upon completion of his education, he spent the next four years working in the investment banking industry for two different Fortune 100 companies.

Outside of work, Murphy is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys boating, skiing, traveling and playing baseball.
